“Sketch books form the basis for my art , sometimes an end in itself. Some ideas are developed further into finished paintings , both pastel and acrylic. I find pastels a great medium for capturing the light in the landscape, whereas I tend to use acrylic for more block colour poster art, which incorporates a more fun, imaginative approach.”
