Campbell Bryson studied at the Glasgow School of Art where he won the Governor’s prize, a travelling scholarship. He has spent most of his life working and teaching in the Highlands. He was principal teacher of art at Kingussie High School and recently retired from Grantown Grammar where he was head of the art and design department for 18 years.
He now has time to concentrate on his own work, painting in a large studio in the garden of his home in Kincraig. His studies of birch woods are excellent examples of using light and shade. Genius!
